Software Development We have extensive experience developing aircraft frequency models, statistical limits, as well as implementing (coding) them in Honeywell/Chadwick-Helmuth system acquisition units (hardware configuration development, data collection route development, etc. via Vibralog). Beyond HUMS control code development, we have in-house software development capabilities, as well as a sound business relationship with a software writing firm. For example, Diagnostic Solutions has developed the “Intelligent Analysis System” (IAS), which enables us to manage the enormous in-flow of data produced from HUMS systems, regardless of the size of the aircraft fleet. IAS effectively and efficiently processes, analyzes, trends, archives, and condenses data into digestible summaries for the customer. IAS can also be used as a statistical tool, facilitating a sound means of complementing OEM established limits, as well as derive new limits as applicable. And finally, IAS provides “event driven” feedback to the customer, in terms of parameter exceedances and long term trending.
